Artbar クラフト、今回は豆皿と取り皿の絵付けセッションです。

直径約8.5cmの豆皿は、コレクターがいるほど実は人気のあるサイズです。
ちょこっとキャラメルやジャム、チョコレートなどをのせたりと、日々のテーブルのアクセントにお使い頂けます。

直径約13.5cmの取り皿も、自由に絵を描いて頂きます。豆皿と内容をリンクさせて描いたり、それぞれ全く違うデザインでも良いです。お子様でもアイデアが表現出来るようお手伝いいたします。

お一人につき豆皿と取り皿を1枚ずつ、合計2枚に描きます。

作品の受け渡しは本焼き焼成後1、2ヶ月程で着払いにて発送致します。

Plate and side small plate set

We will paint a plate and a mini plate . The mini plate dish (with a diameter of about 8.5 cm)  is a popular size in Japan for small snacks, sweets, soy sauce for dipping, elegant bites etc. The plate is about 13.5 cm in diameter.

We will paint glaze on a total of two plates, one mini plate and one standard size plate. 

The work will be fired in a kiln and delivered within about one to two  months after the session by cash on delivery.

Paint like Pollock (F10 Sized Canvas) – Artbar Yokohama

Create a larger Pollock style painting for your home.  In this class we will use a F10 canvas (55×46) rather than the standard F6 (41X33cm).  It can get messy so dress appropriately!

このセッションではアルコールインクを使った作品に挑戦できます。透明感のある淡いカラフルな抽象画を作ることができます。最初にA4サイズの紙で練習をし、F6 サイズの木製アートキャンバス本番の作品を製作します。色はお好きな物をお選びいただけ、ゴールドのアクセントを加えることも可能です。ユニークな材料・方法を使い楽しく製作しましょう。フレームはセッションに含まれておりません。酒類の提供がある為、20歳以上のお客様を対象とさせて頂きます。

In this session, we will be exploring the art of alcohol inks – this medium creates wispy and organic shapes to create your own colorful, abstract masterpiece. We will be working on Yupo paper, a waterproof, tree-free synthetic paper with a smooth surface which allows the alcohol ink move very freely, creating soft patterns. We will first work on a practice sheet (A4 size) and then on our final will be on a F6 size wooden canvas. Choose your own color combinations and add metallic gold accents within your artwork – we will be using lots of fun materials and tools. Frame is not included. Come as you are and no experience necessary. Alcohol is typically served so events are for adults 20 years and older.

Alcohol ink uses materials that can be harmful. If you are pregnant, have respiratory illness, or sensitive to alcohol please do not sign up for this class.

Alcohol  ink art used alcohol to flow ink and it evaporates quickly leaving a highly pigmented ink. The use of alcohol ink in this method is still relatively new and we don’t yet know the long term effects of inhaling alcohol and ink vapors.  Artbar Tokyo considers the safety of the teachers and customers of prime importance and will take caution to follow the manufacturers instruction regarding the use of these products while also considering that each person’s body may react differently.

Artbar Studios offering Alcohol ink or Resin art classes will:

YOKOHAMA – F6 Rectangle Canvas Paint Pouring

Art Bar Yokohama @ Motomachi is a 3-minute walk from Motomachi-Chukagai station on the historic Motomachi shopping street in Yokohama.  We hope you will join us for fun and relaxing events in our spacious and stylish new studio!

We will lead you thru the techniques to create a unique work using paint pouring.   Your choices of colors are mixed, poured and maneuvered on the canvas to bring you art to life.  Small blow torches are used to create cells in the paint.

We have wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and light snacks but as always, feel free to bring your own food or you can order in from local restaurants. No experience is necessary!

Alcohol is typically served so events are for adults 20 years and older.

Artbar uses acrylic paints and inks and it may be difficult to wash them off  if they get on your clothes. Please wear appropriate clothing.
